Use cases

Examples of installations where our controllers are used

There are a large number of engineering systems and networks, where it is possible to apply our means of automation. Depending on the task that the automated systems implementation engineer has to accomplish, the resulting automation system be constructed differently. It may be a dispatch system that performs functions of remote monitoring or a system that automates a certain technological process. This will determine the composition of the solution and specify the data sent from controllers to the point of monitoring.

Use cases

The implementation of automatic control of damper drives at the gate of water tanks of a pump station

In order to implement the automated scheme of controlling the position of pipeline dampers (by moving the damper drives) to change the rate of filling of the water tanks and to control the performance of damper drives, you can use controllers of the «Impulse 112» series along with the sensors and control mechanisms for these controllers.

Creating a system of free cooling with power accounting under control of Impulse 112 controllers

Free cooling system is designed to save energy, which is consumed to cool the air in technological rooms. The principle of operation is as follows: at a low outside air temperature (18 ˚C and below) the ventilation system is forced to take outside air into the room, reducing the overall temperature of the air in it.

Rolling out a reliable remote monitoring system. Overview

A monitoring system based on the controller "Impulse 112" allows you to organize remote monitoring of equipment at technical facilities of various applications. Such technical facilities may include: server rooms, heat exchangers, switchboards, boilers, water supply units, base stations of mobile operators, etc.

Monitoring the battery backup power supply system

The monitoring system allows monitoring of battery backup power at all remote sites. This is especially valuable for companies providing telecom services. Such companies often have to maintain a large number of objects, frequent visits whereto affects business margin.

Upgrade of the control box for a freecooling installation, with integration to electricity meters

Illustrated below is a control box under control of the "Impulse 112.4" controller. It includes 2 temperature sensors (for temperature measurement in the ventilation duct and at a point in the ventilated room), 2 combined temperature / relative humidity sensors (to measure outside and inside the ventilated room), relay control module with 8 relays, one double-line HMI LCD operator panel and one integration unit for electricity meters via the protocol DLMS / COSEM.

Various scenarios of using the system of remote monitoring for conducting remote surveillance of premises

In order to reduce consumer's interference in the work of house engineering systems to a minimum, life-support systems of modern buildings require automation. But in practice, we have yet another aspect of this phenomenon: these support systems should be serviced by specialists in order to prevent the occurrence of accidents. Thus, there is a need to monitor the parameters of various systems and to respond to potential accidents. Let us consider a modern house and try to understand how the existing systems perform and methods of tracking their performance on the example of the introduction of remote monitoring system based on the controller "Impulse 112".

The use of a monitoring system for conducting surveillance over temperature in server rooms

A monitoring system based on the "Impulse 112" controller can be used for continuous remote temperature monitoring in server rooms. In order to provide the most effective supervisioning over maintaining of certain temperature in all areas of your premises, install temperature sensors in all places with equipment cabinets irradiating a maximum heat.
