Let's consider several variants of a monitoring system and what it gives to the consumer. In today's world almost all the equipment needs to be connected to the AC or DC mains for power supply. Thus, the main parameter for the remote monitoring of such an object is to control the electrical power that feeds technical equipment located in this technical facility. To address this problem, sensors of current (of the series SCG2-OW ..) and sensors of voltage (of the series SVG2-OW ..) are connected to the controller "Impulse 112". These sensors come in different variants for DC and/or AC voltages of different denominations. Using the sensor voltage at the input, you can monitor the availability and quality of the supply voltage and thus react to certain changes in the parameters. The data obtained from this way will help you more establish a more qualitative approach to the selection of equipment for a given object. If at your location there is a system of guaranteed power supply, you may need to control the voltage at the batteries, as this option allows you to evaluate the wear of each battery and estimate the schedule for planned and unplanned maintenance. For these purposes it is necessary to connect the sensor SCG2-OW-80-4, which has the ability to keep track of voltage on four batteries. Also if you are using electric power meters (or meters of heat, water consumption) with an impulse interface, you may want to connect a pulse counter SIG2-OW-35-1 and gain the ability to do remote metering without arriving at the site, which in turn reduces costs.

Thus, there is a always a task to maintain the temperature in the equipment room within the specified boundaries. But far too often this is not enough, in addition to this there is the need for constant monitoring of the temperature in the case of failure of the thermoregulatory apparatus - to be able to react quickly and as soon as possible to eliminate overheating problems, preventing breakage of the main equipment. For these purposes, there is a temperature sensor STG2-OW-85, which you can put in your working area, and connect to the controller "Impulse 112". Thus, by setting the sensor and adjusting the thresholds values on the controller "Impulse 112" you will receive emergency messages when the temperature leaves the specified operating conditions. Sensor STG2-OW-85 is not only a sensor of temperature, but also a sensor of relative humidity. Humidity is the parameter of that can also seriously affect the operation of the equipment.

Apart from the said above, the controller "Impulse 112" can be used to build a system for monitoring the facilities of water, heat and gas supply. For this purpose, it provides the ability to connect analog sensors with standardized output signals 0 .. 10V or 0(4) .. 20mA. With the help of these sensors you can monitor the temperature of the coolant in the heating and cooling systems, water supply systems, the pressure in the closed systems of heat, cold, gas, water as well as a variety of other parameters which are directly or indirectly affect the operation of equipment and the health status of facilities in general. Analysis of the data obtained through the monitoring system built on the basis of the controller "Impulse 112" provides the ability to monitor and react to changes at technical facilities, which in turn reduces the cost of maintenance and repairining of equipment.

Let us consider a few other features of the controller "Impulse 112", which you can use at your premises. A controller "Impulse 112" has four inputs of the type "dry contact", the data inputs can be used to connect motion sensors, door opening sensors, smoke detectors, etc. In addition to that the controller "Impulse 112" can be used together with an IP-camera that can take pictures at the event og drawdown on one of the connected sensors. For example, the camera can be put in front of a door and work together with a door sensor, so you can keep track of who and when came into the room.

As can be concluded from the brief description, the mentioned remote monitoring solution for engineering systems and facilities, when it is based on the controller "Impulse 112" and the line of sensors to it - allows to organise flexible scenarios of remote monitoring of distant locations.
